The centre of UK remembrance since the First World War, no remembrance ride through the UK could miss this Lutyens masterpiece on Whitehall. Originally in wood for the first national commemoration it was replaced by stone and unveiled on 11th November 1920 (whilst the Commonwealth War Graves Commission was still recording deaths as due to the First World War, and would until the end of August the following year).
Within London Help for Heroes has reached approximately 800 veterans of all ages and from all conflicts. Your donations to one of our riders or to the ride in general at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Hero-JOGLE-Relay will boost the much needed efforts of Help for Heroes to continue supporting veterans who have become injured or ill as a result of service, and reach those who need help, but have yet to find them.
In total they have supported over 26,500 beneficiaries.
