Day 14 – from our 2-wheeled correspondent

Neil writes: Day 14 (12 riding) was generally a fast day flying over flat terrain through Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk finishing in Colchester.

We were joined by 9 x 1/2/3 day riders which made for a nice change, decent sized group riding.

En route we did stop at the Desert Rats memorial (accompanied by a piper), Lavenham to pay tribute to the bomber group losses and a very topical one member of the Blues and Royals killed in the Afghan War.

We finished at Goojerat Barracks where we held a service for the 6 RMP’s murdered in Iraq.
